Besides that, they were also fooled as the concerned contractors who had many grievances against them pretended to represent another company so that customers will be convinced to switch to a different network.

Some customers also complained that just trying to sign up for information changed their service providers without their consent. Paul Clarke who is the group manager of Somerset County Council's Trading Standards said, " Its important that if you choose to sign up for a contract you know exactly what you are committing yourself to... We are encouraging local residents to check the small print and consider all the options before signing on the dotted line."

Anyone wishing to have a new contract mobile phone deals or making changes to the current deal must have written information about the following things before signing up for anything:
