BlackBerry 6, a revolution? A Quick overview

The new OS and the BlackBerry Torch (or BlackBerry 9800) has made their appearances on the market with U.S

. operator AT & T and also brought the new BlackBerry Desktop 6.

Unfortunately BlackBerry 6 is not available on all BlackBerry products. Only BlackBerry Bold 9650 (replacing the Tour in the U.S.), 9700 and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be affected by an official update in the coming months. Fortunately for the future owners of the BlackBerry Curve 3G (or BlackBerry 9300), which will be available initially in OS 5, it will be capable of supporting BlackBerry 6 and probably will get an update at a later time.

The BlackBerry 6 comes with some new features:

- The highly anticipated WebKit Browser which will now tabbed browsing, fluid, fast and accurate.

- The universal search that will give the possibility to search among other applications, a contact, and even a message with a keyword.

- A new multimedia interface.

- A new wizard for configuration.

- A new home screen, including the ability to manage, in addition to profiles of the universal search and various notifications, connections.

- A system of navigation between menus simply by moving the trackpad that gives you access between All, Favorites, Media, Downloads and frequently used applications.

- Direct access to podcasts of your choice.

- The integration of social networks in a single application: Social Feeds.

Even more new features will appear on your BlackBerry, such as Blackberry 9800 themes, or the fact that now we no longer need to download a special application for the current date on the calendar icon (a detail but certainly the least important.
