The tablet PC segment is estimated that every single manufacturer is focusing on, even though they might not have been familiar with this segment prior to the launch of the Apple iPad. Only the internal memory is available on the Blackberry PlayBook and it will be three different options that are very similar to the Apple iPad, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The Blackberry PlayBook will not be having any additional slots for adding more memory in the future. The Blackberry PlayBook will be running on an entirely new operating system and this is the party piece of the tablet PC from BlackBerry. It will be the QNX-based operating system that is more or less similar to the BlackBerry OS 6.0, which was recently released for the BlackBerry phones. Due to the usage of this operating system, syncing the Blackberry PlayBook with a BlackBerry is extremely easy. It is something that will be making this new Blackberry PlayBook look extremely appealing for the business users.

However, the new Blackberry PlayBook will be best used when used in the entertainment mood because it has a lot of features to cater to this need. One thing that will be doing this exactly will be the five megapixel camera located in the rear of the tablet PC. It will be capable of 1080 p video recording option, which is probably seen in the Tablet PC segment for the first time. The Blackberry PlayBook will be coming with a dual core 1 GHz processor that is capable of running this whole tablet PC in the best way. The Blackberry PlayBook has just been announced for the UK market from Q2.
