Blackberry Os 6.0 Details Out? Features, Pics, Images

THE DETAILS of the upcoming Blackberry OS 6.0 have been purportedly leaked onto the internet

, alongside pics and images of screenshots of the offering. These details which were apparently leaked out to an annonymous blogger on the internet, state that the latest offering from Research in Motion has a "redone" media player, apart from kinetic scrolling throughout the system.

The leaked details, claim that the Blackberry OS 6.0, due in the markets by June or July, will have a webkit browser and the ability to switch from one task to another through the multi-touch user interface. Several features and specs were also revealed in this leak, apart from two screenshots.

The key features of the Blackberry OS 6. 0 are a new inbox with larger thumbnails, RSS feed integration, homescreen customisation, pop up with gestures, improved photo app navigation, apart from a popup nine icon group menu.

The new work on the media player by Research in Motion means that users can flip through the new cover art screen for their music. The multi-touch system changes the way to browse through music into simple finger movements across the screen.

There is no talk of changes in widget support for the homescreen, but customisation of the page has been made easier. It appears RIM has made the homescreen completely open to change, with chosen apps on the main page and a slide through either left and right allowing browsing in different apps.

There is also talk of a universal search function.

While there has been no confirmation or denial from RIMs side, the photos and images released in this leak have become much talked about over the internet. While some are comparing this to the features on Apple's Ipad, only the release of the device can confirm this.
