Blackberry Should Not Die For Security & Business Apps

We all know BlackBerry is going through tough phase

. It is struggling hard to survive in this Apple and Android dominated smartphone world. RIM has loads of hopes from in next generation Blackberry 10 which is expected to be launched in first quarter of 2013.

It is clearly seen that world is after iPhone and Android devices. The sales figures of Apple and Android are very dominating. This has forced Blackberry apps developers to make shift to other mobile platforms for earning their livelihood. As per experts only RIM has the potential and technology to launch a complete alternative to Apple iPhone and Android phone sin the market.

However, RIM is struggling hard from last few years and its customers are also leaving RIM and adopting other popular platforms. As a result Rim suffered huge loss of approx. $125million since 2005. At the time of its launch, Blackberry smartphones were at top. They grabbed maximum customers from business background. Enterprise people were very fond of Blackberry phones. It is because of the great job done by Blackberry apps developers and other experts on security as well as integration issues.

Till date, Blackberry is said to be the most secure platform. For e.g.- E-mails from Blackberry are sent via internal data center for security and reliability whereas on all other platforms mails are just flying over internet. So we can say that, RIM developed Blackberry keeping in mind the security of data transferred. All other platforms are said to consumer and entertainment centric.

Even after the huge success of iPhone and Android, experts still feel that there are some features which are only mastered by Blackberry and other platforms cannot even think to be there. Its diehard fans still loves Blackberry and called as a great brand. However, RIM must chalk out the way to take advantage of such customer base.

Using BlackBerry for business needs is always like a peaceful dream for all IT people across the world as it saves data from hackers, moles and holes.

Though, Blackberry was unsuccessful in meeting the rising demands of users for fully colored touchscreen and plenty of third party applications it is making great efforts to please its users with the same. Blackberry 10 is supposed to have fully touch screen with some amazing screen resolution and Blackberry apps developers are also submitting number of apps on the Blackberry app store for the new phone to be launched.

Blackberry is doing every possible thing to lure apps developers for staying on their platform. Recently, it announced its two schemes- Built for BlackBerry and the $10k Developer commitment. Under Built for Blackberry developers can submit their BlackBerry 10 WebWorks and BlackBerry 10 Native apps for free.

For the $10k Developer community, RIM decided that an app which will earn $1000 USD on its own and less than $10,000USD, RIM will the remaining amount to the developer. Every developer is eligible for it only once.

This makes that BlackBerry should not die. People still have some soft corner but they it will great efforts to win their hearts again.
