Blog Writing Tips For The Internet Marketer

I have been a blogger and Internet marketer for years now and I am going to bring you my top blog tips for writing great posts

. I am not going to list these in any order at all, but they should all be studied and applied at the same time to each post you blog.

Be sure your content is clear, concise and able to be read easily on the computer screen. Blog formatting is different than other types of formatting.

Length is also a big issue with blogging - this is one of the main ways the formatting differs from regular formatting. Blog posts should be close to three hundred words and never more than five hundred words. Write more than that and you risk losing readers. People reading blogs have a shorter attention span and less time than someone who is sitting down to read an issue of the New Yorker or Money.

Keep Content in the Niche: This is another problem I have seen from time to time that needs adddressing, I think. You should be very aware of your niche and write for it and only for it. You should really avoid rambling and ranting about things that are off subject unless, of course, ranting and rambling are your chosen niche. If you lose focus on the subject of your niche, so will the readers and then they will more than likely think of some other website that relates to what you now have them thinking about.

Flow and webpage layout: This isn't so much a tip as just good advice to follow. You need to make sure your page flows from one thing to the next. You do not need too many widgets just because they look cool, nor do you want too much content all on one page. Try to make your blog easy on the eyes. Make sure your attention is not too distracted by too many things. Some ads are good and some widgets are good, but the key to everything in blogging is moderation.

Make use of your space: What ever you do though, you need to make use of all the space you have without making it look cluttered. This is where the art of blogging comes in. You must find the perfect balance of empty space and blog components.
