Blogging Tip #1 - The most important part of your blog is the content. Your blog content should be interesting enough to give people a reason to keep people coming back to your site. To get ideas about what to write about, you can visit other blogs that are similar to yours and see what they are writing about, and you can write your opinion on the topic. You can write about "top" lists, like this article. Some of the content you write may be controversial. That is a good thing; it encourages more comments and more participation. Or you can write a review on a particular website or product. You can also end a blog post with a question. And remember, blog posts don't always have to be long, sometimes just one or two paragraphs will do. You want them to read and comment on your posts, but it is also a good idea to have a lead capture form where they sign up for a free ebook or something else of value and they put in their email address. I like to show my Twitter feed on mine and I also have my Facebook Fan Page feed. This encourages people to visit you on your social networking sites.
