Blogs, Facebook And Other Internet Avenues Are Great For Your Business
The other day I was at my son's basketball game
. I was sitting there watching the game when a friend of mine and I got talking. We started visiting about how our family dynamics were.
We both come from big families and were talking about how we connect with certain family members and then there are others that we are not as close to.
It is always interesting to visit with different people and the dynamics of large families and how it usually comes out the same with a variety of personalities.
As we were visiting she mentioned that the ones she struggled with the most in her family were the ones that were big into the blogging and the internet stuff. She is older and doesn't get the internet stuff.
As we were visiting I found myself pointing out some of the pluses of having a blog or an internet business. Her husband has a storefront and she was mentioning that they were trying to find ways to help drive business to their storefront.
I told her that she didn't have to think about the internet as only a blog or Facebook, but that she could think of another avenue for her husband's business to be found.
This led to a very interesting conversation about the opportunities that are out there to make money and to help businesses in ways that haven't been as well known over the years.
This all of a sudden changed her interest in the internet. She started asking questions about what options were out there.
We talked about the biggest thing that they ought to consider is search engine optimization opportunities that are out there. She said that her husband had a website, but didn't have time to do anymore with it.
She commented that there were several different companies out there that offered different services and how would they know who or what to do.
I told her that one of the best ways to get started is to start doing research on the internet and reading reviews on different search engine optimization companies and the services they offered.
I told her that she would find reviews and other companies that offer services. She would want to read through the different reviews and evaluate what they needed and to make phone calls and take a jump.
She would be amazed at what she would find with these services and that she would find great success with the internet and their business.
As we finished our conversation she was ready to go out and read the reviews on different internet companies.
