. The different types of blogs can be categorized on the kind of information it provides. Blogs are also called web blogs. Blogs remind us of online diaries, where some people provide personal information, which seems like an autobiography of a person. Blogs demand conscious writing which would generate keen interest in readers. The different types of blogs that can be seen on the Internet are:

1. Interviews: Writers use interviews published on blogs to know more about a particular subject, they are working on. Such blogs do not always present relevant information about the topic, but general opinion of the Internet users regarding a particular subject. Generally, one or two questions are asked to get general summary of different responses on the topic.

2. Case Studies: These types of blogs are widely popular amongst bloggers. Web sites dedicate some part of the web site towards case studies. These are generally review posts, where certain information regarding the site is added. The case studies are used by majority of web sites as a tool to generate income.

3. News Media: Such blogs generally display incorrect, inaccurate, and illegal information. The writers of this blog, generally, take the content from any source of media and do some unintentional omissions and modifications.

4. Reviews: Generally, every product or service that is sold online has a review associated with it. These reviews contain personal experiences and opinions related to a specific product. These reviews help the readers to make an informed and fair choice.

5. Personal: These types of blogs are generally written by those who wish to post their anger, or share some crucial moments and problems in their lives. Visitors to such blogs have access to content, and they can post their suggestions and opinions on the tag board.

6. Corporate: Entrepreneurs use these types of blogs to advertise their business process and products. Readers are provided updates regarding modifications in business, or newly introduced projects or services.

7. Culture: Social organizations assign the bloggers with the job to display content concerning different social aspects of culture or cultural ethics. The content presented on such blogs is informal, and the visitor has the opportunity to post his opinion without hurting any culture or religious sentiments.

8. Critique Posts: Such blogs are often misunderstood as "Attack Posts". Critique posts are generally aimed to pick a particular aspect of the topic a site is advertising. These blogs are usually a result of criticism.
