A variation of the Blunt Cut is the Under Cut. In this style, the underneath layers are trimmed slightly shorter to encourage the ends on top to curl under. In Under Cut, the nape section is cut to the desired level, then, each layer after that is cut slightly longer creating a concave effect. Under Cut types of cut often eliminate the need for curling it. At the most, it requires a little encouragement with a blow dryer and round brush.
