Blush Is Good Or Not?

In our daily life, we usually feel blush or see some others flush

For this question, Darwin had tried to give a convincing explanation. He said that blush is a patent of human, and other primates have no this feature. All the expressions in our human, the blush is the most special one. However, Darwin had caught perplexed situation on how to explain the evolution of this feature. One explanation believes that blush is a simple expression only to make concession at first and express they are willing to obey orders to the ruling class of group. After that, with the increasing complexity of social interaction, blush links with a higher level of emotional self-awareness, such as guilt, shame and embarrassment. Blush seems to place people at a disadvantage position, but at the same time, it may also make people more attractive.

A neuroscientist in University of California pointed out that compared with men, women are more likely to blush. Blush may have evolved a way for women to show their honest to men and attract men to help them to nurture future generations. He also said:" Blush means I will not give you a cuckold. If you ask me the chastity, I will not lie, my blush will prove this.

A primatologist in Emory University, Atlanta of Georgia also believes that blush can be as a way of cultivating a sense of trust. He said:" If your hunting companion has no any other motion, you will never tell him what you are wanting and feel uncomfortable, therefore, you could not sure if you can trust him." Once blush links with embarrassment, those who never blush may be at a disadvantage position, because it is difficult for us to trust a man who will never blush for anything.

Therefore, blush can be as natural reflection of our body, there is not all bad aspects but more advantages for people when blush.
