1. When your best friend rings for a long chat, walk round the house while you are talking, go up and down the stairs, walk round the room, just keep pacing around. You will soon burn off some calories without even thinking about it.
2. After youve been to the supermarket, before you empty your shopping bags, put one in each hand (make sure they are fairly even and challenging to lift) and do some lunges and squats. That will help with toning your legs and bum and burn off a few calories.
3. Use two 2-litre milk containers (filled either with milk or water) as dumbbells, lift them over your head a few times, move them out away from your sides a few times, bend your elbows a few times a great workout for your shoulders and arms.
4. For a great cardio workout, hold a towel at both ends and expand your chest, do this a few times each day and you will soon feel the benefits.
5. Run up and down the stairs a few times until you get out of breath another great cardio workout, or just stand on the bottom step and step up and down for a few minutes.
6. Put some extra effort into the housework cleaning windows, polishing furniture, vacuuming, cleaning the bath are all great calorie-burning activities. Put on your favourite music and work to the rhythm it will make the time pass more quickly and you will put more effort in.
7. Dont forget the gardening. Not only will you benefit from the fresh air, but you can get a great cardio workout by digging, weeding, mowing the lawn.
