Boot Camp Marketing Strategies To Boost Your Income
This is the second in my 3-part series of amazingly useful boot camp marketing tips
. Read on and good luck!#11 Give Your Workouts a ThemeWe're not talking about the music, but some motivational approach like; "Today the theme is commitment. This will definitely boost morale among your boot-campers over the course of the week.#12 Know when to QuitIf you come across a workout that sounds like a great idea, but doesn't work out, pass by it. There's simply no sense in doing something when you already know it doesn't work.#13 No One Left BehindNo one should be standing around waiting while others finish. It ends up making everyone uncomfortable.#14 The "Go-2" ExercisesOne of the most important parts to your routine is not ever looking like you're struggling to find the next thing to do. Your routines should like you already had them planned out even if you didn't.In any case, you'll have these handy "go-2" drills to turn to. They will save you time and time again.#15 Don't Take Correcting From Your ClientsI'm serious! If someone tries to correct your counting just say; "I'm only counting the perfect ones." It shuts them up every single time!#16 Burn Out the Bigger GuysIf you have really strong guys in your class, but you're using light weights, just burn 'em out first. A good example is making them do 40 pushups before doing a light dumbbell press. Then again you could have them walk 60 yards at a 90 degree angle holding dumbbells before doing some curls. Once you make them hurt before each exercise they'll respect you and feel like they're getting their money's worth.#17 Have a Good Memory on NamesAh yes, one of the key boot camp marketing strategies is building that deep connection with everyone. If you're not good with names, the first time you meet them come up with a rhyme like Trim Kim. It definitely helps.#18 In-Class TestimonialsAsk one of your clients what kind of results they are seeing. Say something like; "Debbie, How much weight have you lost?" Maybe she says she's lost 12 pounds and it has been around a month. "Awesome job," you say. "Hey everyone, I just want to say one thing real quick. Debbie already dropped 11 pounds this month. Great job, Debbie."This will pump up your client like you wouldn't believe, and gives proof to everyone else in the boot camp.#19 Concrete Time and NumbersIf you give your clients a certain amount of time and number of reps, it makes them work a lot harder.#20 Don't Have Boot Camps with Beginning and End DatesTaking this route eliminates all the people who want to join in between. It's possible that someone can't make it until the fourth class. You could lose a ton of income this way. So just have open-ended dates. You also don't want that 2-week break after a session ends. A lot of people will feel comfortable with their vacations from working out so they won't come back. In the end just getting out of the routine makes it much harder.Just offer everyone auto-debit continuity programs. Then again, if you need a break yourself from all of these boot camp marketing strategies, have other trainers ready to teach your camps.
