Brad And Angelina Could Be Getting Married In France This Summer

After years of will they or wont they, the engagement of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

has finally been announced and the Hollywood couple is rumoured to be tying the knot in the south of France this summer.

Jolie was photographed last week wearing a huge diamond ring that was designed by Pitt over a period of 12 months with the help of jeweller Robert Procop. The pair are said to be joining a long list of celebrities who have chosen weddings abroad by planning a ceremony in a private chapel on their 35million estate in France.

According to media reports, the couple got engaged at Christmas and they have been planning their big day for six months.

The 35-room Chteau Miraval is located near the village of Correns in the Aix-en-Provence wine region and Pitt and Jolie have spent millions towards the refurbishment of the property.

The wedding ceremony is said to be taking place in a chapel on the grounds sometime this summer.

A source said: They are talking about flying in somewhere between 200 and 300 guests.

They have been quietly preparing for one of the most glamorous show-business weddings of all time for months. Ive seen their chteau and it is one of the most romantic settings imaginable.

Only close family members of the couple are expected to stay at the French chateaux and preparations are underway to find short-term accommodation for the star-studded guest list which is likely to include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise, plus their partners and children.

The confidante added: Everything is set apart from the actual date. This is a Hollywood wedding and they are juggling multiple work schedules.

Celebrity destination weddings are on the rise and many Hollywood stars are getting married abroad in foreign countries such as the Caribbean, Greece, Cyprus, Italy and the Maldives.

The trend is spreading across the world as more engaged couples seek tropical wedding destinations for intimate romantic ceremonies attended by close family and friends.
