Bradford City In England

Bradford is located in West Yorkshire, in the North of England

. The city was given a title of UNESCO City of Film recently. Bradford is an amazing cultural spot with various galleries, theatres and museums. It became a municipal city in 1847 and it further received a charter of a city in 1897. Its population is near 300,000 which make it 13th most populated counties in United Kingdom.

Popular attractions are National Media Museum, Alhambra Theatre, Bradford Cathedral (a place of worship), Bradford Industrial Museum, Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Alhambra Theatre and St. Georges Hall.

National Media Museum shows IMAX cinema and offers the ultimate cinema experience from Hollywood Blockbuster to 3D cinema.

At Bradford Industrial Museum you can see Bradford's industrial history. In this museum you can enjoy a ride in a horse-drawn vehicle.

The city has some fantastic restaurants which are famous for the Asian cuisines. The Aagrah, Mumtaz and Kip lings are among the famous restaurants.

Bradford as a Shopping Heaven:

Shopping is another major activity for the visitors here. Bradford has areas where you can shop. One is the Kirk gate Centre where there are a large number of shops like River Island, New Look and Jane Norman. Other one is Forster Square Retail Park which is situated near Forster Square Train Station. Shops have high street fashion clothes and there are many sport shops too.

Bradford also has some of the best Asian shops including UK's largest department store Bombay Store, where you will find complete wedding outfits, jewelleries and dainty shoes.
