Branson Has A Zipline!

As a tourist, we migrate toward the sort of things that tourists are "expected" to do

. Theme parks, shopping malls, maybe some camping, theatrical shows, concerts, or museums. Don"t forget your camera with extra batteries and sling it around your neck so the locals know you are visiting their town. Is this the person you are? If so, break the mold and do something different. Be adventurous and try the zipline that Branson offers at Wolfe Creek.

Open since May 1st, 2010, Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours has been a raving success in their area and has had to turn guests away. They fill up very fast so get on that reservation right away. They thoroughly train their staff and guides before ever letting them lead a course. Don"t feel uncomfortable, they know their stuff.

Once you are suited up with the gear you need, there is a small window of time where a nervous panic will trick you into thinking that you are scared. Or perhaps you are scared and you stand up on that first platform and take your stance. One hand on the wire supporting you, one ready by the brake, feet just about to let go of what ground they know. That"s right, eyes on the next landing. No! Wait! Your eyes should be taking in the amazing scenery before you! And when you kick off and swing your feet before you, let out a whoop of excitement and away goes all the butterflies and fear to be replaced by excitement.

Once the zipline is through, there are other activities you can participate in such as a Photo Safari, where the guide will show you the rarely seen side of the Wolfe Creek Preserve plus telling you about the history of the Ozark mountains and the story behind the Legend of Wolfe Mountain. This is a don"t miss opportunity for those who love to photograph the outdoors!

Branson Zipline also offers a taste of mining culture, an activity that is perfect for just about anyone from very young to the elderly. Learn how to pan for Eli"s treasure! This is located directly under the 100 foot freefall experience they have, Everest Tower. Do you dare?

Wolfe Creek Station is the term used for the gift shop on the preserve. There is everything you can imagine there, along with a themed presence to top it off. Spend a little time there or a lot, you choose.

If a family reunion or other large group gathering is in your future, consider an outing on the zipline together. There are party spaces that are available that include the Observation Deck, Xplorer Balcony and Prospector Pavillion. The Prospector Pavillion is of great demand and guests are allowed to use the open fire grills and bring picnic supplies to add to their celebration. Great memories are made out there in the trees playfully bantering back and forth with each other. This is just one more thing that makes a Branson vacation worth taking!
