Most of our customers ask a lot of question about What Type of Breaker do I need
to install for an Electric Saver? So i thought that I would share some detailed information on what size of breaker should you use for the installation of our product.
Now, when you have a single Phase unit, you will need to use double breaker or 20 to 30 amp. for this models: ES1100, ES1050, ES1200, or ES1400.
And when you have three phase unit you need a triple 30 amp pole breaker for the instalation of the electric saver for this models: ES3050, ES3200, and ES 3100. but when you use the ES3400 model you will need to have a triple pole 50 amp breaker when installing the unit.
Just keep in "MIND" that before and after the instalation you "ALWAYS" have to measure the Pre and Post Amp reading to make sure no overcorrection that will occure and your clients will get the result that they deserve.
Now here are the step by step "How to" in corectly finding what zise of amp needed to get the best result as POSSIBLE!
1. Checking how much amp every motor is pulling.(motor at full load)
2. Install the electric saver according to its load instruction. (Refer the result to step 1)
3. after the instalation, check now how much amp the motor is pulling.
4. Now compare the number result you get on step 1 and step 3. If the result of step 3 is more higher the Electric Saver could have over correcting. if so change the size model of this breaker on this motor. But if the result is lower, then the electric saver is doing its job and you got a happy customer who can save money on thier power bill.
And if you ask on what will you do if the amp result is higher when the electric saver is installed in the motor than when not? the answer is simple.
Replace that model into the next model on the motor then recheck your amps after you installed. Do this until you get the result your clients want.
