? It is hard dealing with this kind of situation, particularly when you thought this guy was the one. If you want to get him back and carry on with your relationship, here are some things you can do to help you along.

There are a number of ways you can get your ex boyfriend back. Most importantly at first is leaving him alone for a week or so. This means no phone calls or any other means of communication. Don't worry if you see him with another girl, this does not indicate you are out of the picture, and do not seek revenge on him or her.

Don't worry if you do not hear from him during this week. After a about a week go ahead and call him. This phone call should be short and casual, no begging for him to come back, in fact do not even bring up the subject. All you are doing is maintaining contact and giving him the impression you are doing ok with out him.

Why did he leave you in the first place? Was it something about you that drove him away? If you think it was you, now is the time to make whatever changes need to be made to correct this issue.

Were you spending too much time with him and not giving him any space? If you think you were nagging him you need to stop that now no matter if you get your ex back or you are with another guy. Do whatever is necessary to make improvements in your life to improve your chance of getting your ex back.

If it turns out that you and your ex boyfriend do not get back together, you have at least made some improvements in your life that should carry over to the next guy you are with. In fact you may have made yourself more appealing and attractive to the next guy.
