To be able to translate what we see convincingly on paper we should be aware of how we see.We only have two imagesin 2Dwhich our eyes receives when we look at objects. The brain does the translation and reconstructs the 3D world. Once we become aware of how the translation process we can see the 2D image without the brains additional information and can produce more faithful 2D reproductions.
This process seems very simple but those who attempt it know it needs lot of practice and hard work. One has to also become conscious of the involuntary function of "seeing" and dissect it into its stages or components so we can break out down to put it on a flat surface.
