Bridal bouquets need to be the right color, the right size and the bouquet needs to be coordinated with many other aspects of the wedding day. Many other people will be holding or will be wearing flowers that day and they all need to match and look coordinated. The bride has many decisions to make about the flowers right from the beginning. The first decision needs to be colors. The colors of the flowers will likely be the colors of the wedding and all other decorations and dcor will be matched up against these flowers.

The next decision for the bridal bouquet is whether the flowers will be real or if they will be artificial. Real flowers are the preferred type of flower for many reasons. Real flowers have the fragrant smell and they look nicer. With the look and the smell, also comes cost. To be able to use real flowers for bridal bouquets, flowers will need to be shipped in and will need to be done up in a short amount of time to make sure the flowers are still living through the wedding and beyond. If the flowers of the bridal bouquet are beginning to wilt the day of the wedding, no bride would be happy.

Once the colors and types of flowers are chose for the bridal bouquet, the coordination process begins. The bridal bouquet needs to match the flowers the bridesmaids will be carrying and the bouquet also needs to match the flowers that the men will be wearing. A wedding day is all about coordination and the flowers are no exception. The flowers play into the grander scheme of the wedding day and the flowers, along with every other part of the wedding day, need to be perfect.
