Bring A Cheerful Tropical Theme To A Utility Room

Use the open shelves to store wicker baskets filled with everyday necessities and sprinkle in framed photos or prints with a tropical theme, potted plants in frog or lizard flower pots, and glass jars filled with shells. Wall hooks, coat stands, and umbrella stands with tropical flair can organize outwear and reduce clutter.

Bring in a wicker trunk and add a tropical print cushion on top. Now you have a place to sit when pulling your shoes on or off and you can store whatever you want inside. Wicker, bamboo or rattan open wall shelves offer storage for small items and display space for little touches like jarred candles in tropical scents.

If you have wall space, tropical wall decor featuring palm trees, a tiki hut, toucans or orchids and hibiscus will accent the walls with splashes of color and eye appeal.
