After you have brought a teacup puppy home, you need to have great responsibility for the puppy as an owner.

For this, firstly you have to provide a corner to the teacup puppy and build a puppy play area there. You have to see that the floor of the corner is not carpeted and tiled. This will enable you to clean the excrete of the puppy easily. It is a very wise idea to prevent the puppy from going outside the puppy play area till it is housebroken. This is because the puppy may hurt itself. Also the puppy will feel comfortable in the puppy play area. If the home is small, you can create the puppy play area in a crate where it can stay for the whole day when nobody is at the home and if it is large you can buy a bigger puppy play fence. It will help the puppy to play and exercise when you are not at home.

Besides a comfortable bed, nutritious food, clean drinking water, you should also provide the teacup puppy with toys in the playpen so that it can play with them and not get bored. But as the toys provide fun to it, in the same way it can be dangerous also. So as an owner you should be very careful in choosing safe toys for your puppy that cannot be torn apart and swallowed by the tiny pet. Examples of safe toys include tennis ball, dog treats etc.

It is important to train the dog in every aspects in its earlier days otherwise later on it will not listen to you. Again, as an owner you should choose a cute and meaningful name for your puppy.
