Britney Spears Rumoured To Be Getting Married Abroad

Rumours are circulating that pop singer Britney Spears could be getting married for a third time to boyfriend and agent, Jason Trawick.

The pop princess is said to be joining in on the trend of destination weddings by planning a tropical ceremony in Maui in Hawaii or Costa Rica in spring 2012.

The engagement rumours started after Trawick was seen shopping in renowned jewellery stores for a ring for his girlfriend of a year and a half.

A close source said: "He has been everywhere from Tiffany to Harry Winston looking for a ring and he is close to making his final decision.

"Don't expect anything too massive or obnoxious. This ring will be classy and under 4-carats."

The 39-year-old agent is said to be whisking his 29-year-old girlfriend off to a romantic destination to pop the question when her 'Femme Fatale Tour', finishes in Puerto Rico on 10th December.

A family insider commented: "Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time.

"Jason adores her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour wraps, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time."

This will be the third time Britney will walk down the aisle. The pop star got married to her childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004, which lasted just 55 hours, and later that year she married American dancer Kevin Federline. That marriage lasted a little longer and the couple had two children togetherm but the couple divorced in 2007.

So will it be third time lucky for this recording artist? Perhaps the tropical destination will do the trick. Both Maui and Costa Rica are popular choices for destination weddings because of their beautiful natural landscapes, tropical climate and soft sandy beaches.

The number of couples choosing weddings abroad is rising steadily as more brides and grooms head to sunnier climates to say I Do.

Caribbean weddings are amongst the favourites for many couples with a choice of islands boasting white sand beaches, turquoise ocean, lush rainforests and all inclusive beachfront hotels and resorts.

Many couples choose to get married abroad to save on costs and limit the number of wedding guests. Several resorts and hotels offer tailor-made wedding packages which often include the services of an experienced wedding planner who is on hand to organise every detail of the big day, from booking the venue, minister and photographer, to arranging the legal documents, catering and floral decorations.
