Bruce Lee Movies List

Practically everyone I know who has studied martial arts got into it by watching kung fu movies

. Probably the most obvious and most traditional ones would be the martial arts films made by the late great Bruce Lee. He truly set a high standard in martial arts movies. He was thrilling to watch, he made things swifter, more dramatic, and more involved than at any time before. Bruce Lee's movies not only had fantastic and unprecedented combat scenes, but they also had reasonably exciting story lines and not surprisingly the sinister villains as well.

When you are watching old martial arts movies, it can be easy to forget how new they were at the time. Many people get caught up at the bad translations and cheesy conversation, not noticing the countless amazing combat scenes. Not surprisingly, current Chinese martial arts films have taken things much further. The films of people like Jet Li and Jackie Chan have placed a complete new level of excellence for martial arts fight scenes. They seamlessly combined special effects, amazing choreography, and humorous antics into one seamless scene.

Not surprisingly, you will find a great deal of other martial arts films apart from the kung fu films. The us has been creating martial arts films for many years. There were, of course, the Karate Kid movies. All of us who grew up through the 80s remembers these videos.

They ended up being interesting due to the fact they featured a style of combat that wasn't usually portrayed in movies for the time. Karate is rather uncomplicated, and does not always make for a good film. In the Karate Kid films, however, they certainly made it work.

Some of the most fascinating martial arts films are in fact not fictional films at all, but real demonstrations.

I initially saw a kung fu demonstration movie about a year ago, and since then I've enjoyed seeing every single one I can get my hands on. A variety of these demos are based around very long, elaborate, intricate dance-like activities as opposed to simple martial arts. All the moves employ a combative purpose, but they additionally have a grace and beauty to them as well.

The fighters shadow box with pretend badies, leaping, vaulting, kicking, and punching all over the stage with grace and ease. They use flashy aerobatics and martial arts weapons displays with grunts, shouts, and shoulder rolls. All in all, it is almost every bit as dramatic as watching Jackie Chan take on the bad men in one of his martial arts movies. Best of all, it gives you a flavor of the art that you just don't typically get from the major kung fu movies, Regardless of how cool they are. Somehow, it seems much more authentic and more life like.

All in all, I feel that anyone who likes action videos, will undoubtedly enjoy the Bruce Lee videos that he made. Many of them like Enter The Dragon ended up being massive movies in their time and even today that is still an awesome movie to watch
