I went to a local big box store last money to take a look at storage sheds and to

my surprise for four plastic walls and roof they wanted over a thousand dollars so I did what everyone does and typed "How to build a storage shed?" into Google and came across a great product. Now I am no master carpenter but with the detailed plans I was able to get online the project of the summer quickly became apparent. Now during this article I will show you what I learned and more importantly will show you how to save major money and build your own storage shed.

It comes down to money and by taking the hammer into hand you will be able to save a heck of a lot of money by building your own shed. No more cheap plastic that looks like it will break in a heartbeat but a solid structure that will last for years to come. Do yourself a favor and look at the prices of shed at the local store than take a peek at lumber costs and you will see why I was so excited by this find.

I am picky. I admit it and so does my wife so I did not just want your simple shed that it seems everyone has so I was looking for a bit of zip to my summer project. Like I mentioned I am not a master carpenter and lightning strikes the same place a heck of a lot more often than I do but with the carefully detailed plans from My Shed Plans even I could figure it out. Turns out the summer project only took a few days to complete and now I have a storage shed in my back yard that looks like it cost thousands but in actuality it cost a fraction of that. I have the shed that I wanted and with the help of My Shed Plans everything came together in a much easier manner then expected. If you want to go ahead and spend a thousand bucks on a piece of plastic than go nuts otherwise save your pennies and build your own storage shed.
