Bieber always seemed to be down to Earth and just like any ordinary teenager, which helped boost his YouTube appeal. His videos were soon spotted by a real music agent who quickly got him signed to a record company. Since then, however, Bieber has continued to maintain his fan-base through sites like YouTube and Facebook, which have continued to help boost his appeal. Bieber has always felt more like your next door neighbor, who happens to be a great singer, than other popular musicians like Lady Gaga, who feel incredibly far removed from the real world. Much of Beiber's continued success relies upon his fans' use of their wireless internet connections to follow his every move through sites like Twitter.

As a musician, it's important for you to try to harness the power of fast 4G internet connections and social networking sites. This is the number one, easiest way to build your fan base. Without your fans, you'll never be able to book more gigs or get a record deal. If you aren't able to bring people out to come support you when you play, you'll forever be destined to play at birthday parties and Bar Mitzvahs. Even if all you want to do is get up on stage to play the great music you've written, it's important that you take the time to communicate with your fans to encourage them to come out to your shows. So do some leg work with your wireless internet connections so you can get out there and share your songs.
