Bum Marketing Method - Does PPC Work Better Than Article Marketing? by:David Bocock

I've gotten quite a few e-mails lately asking questions about The Bum Marketing Method

, but no worries I've got answers for you. I received an e-mail the other day asking, "What is the best way to drive massive traffic to your site? I've heard PPC will work better than article marketing." Normally, I don't deal with PPC and I'll tell you why.

This question was a little bit out of the scope of what I generally concern myself with when writing articles but, in reference to PPC, I can say that it should not be your goal to drive massive traffic to your site. Rather, you should be driving ultra-targeted, extremely hungry crowds that are specifically researched for a certain product or those folks who are desperately seeking to fix a problem.

The easiest way to sell affiliate products is to target people who are already on the verge of buying. When you find these types of people you can send a limited number of people to your site and achieve higher conversions. For example, if you are selling a weight loss program you would want to target people who are looking for reviews of that program or have typed in "buy" and then the name of the program.

I'm pretty sure Travis Sago uses the PPC method to test a market before he jumps in, because of the fast results, so if you can combine fast with highly targeted then by all means, do it! But, as I've mentioned before PPC is out of the scope of what I generally comment on because I am always looking for ways to get traffic with no out of pocket expense.
