You should never skip breakfast as missing this meal has definitely been linked to weight gain. 3) Eat protein. The body works harder when it digests protein, in fact harder than when it digests any other food. This means that you burn more calories to digest protein. Always keep the protein as low in calories as possible by removing the fat. By keeping calorie intake at a sensible level you can see that you are stoking the engine to burn the fat. If your calorie intake is so low that there are not enough calories to burn to keep you on the move during your normal day you will begin to burn muscle to lose weight.
