A Balloon Theme Will Make Any Party Fly High

What type of balloon theme will the party be? If the party is for a birthday, include selected theme colors that the celebrant will like. For example, for a young girl select plenty of pinks, violets, reds, light blues, and white balloons. For a young male guest of honor, select darker hues that include blacks, blues, greens, etc.

One winning theme that would fit a boy's or girl's party is an On Cloud 9 celebration theme. This theme needs plenty of balloons, light blue, white, and clear. Use posters of clouds and other beauty scenic shots of the sky with mountains, palms trees, etc. Posters of hot air balloons is also a great way to emphasize the birthday party theme. Fill certain balloons with helium, so the balloons float to the ceiling, and inject others with regular air. Place small blue balloons in larger clear ones or white ones in clear blue balloons etc. The party guests enjoy this experience greatly, feeling as if they are literally walking on Cloud 9. As a cool bonus, rent a fog machine to make it feel as if the party guests are walking on clouds.

Easy way to decorate any theme balloon party is by stringing balloons in a balloon banner around the party area. To do this, simply blow up the desired number of balloons for the banner. Use a needle and thread, thread the needle, and poke the needle through the tail of the balloons (4-5 balloons at once), then affix the balloons on the string. Once the groups of balloons are made, place a string through the middle of the balloons and gather the rest of the group on the string as needed. When you are done you will have a party area that is brimming with high-flying balloons.

Create balloon invitations by cutting out balloon shapes from card stock paper. Tape strings to the end of the balloons with small ribbons affixed to the strings; then on the balloon, write down all the needed party information.
