How to buy cheap ebooks is something i am often asked, i own both the kindle and ipad and was constantly fustrated trying to find places to buy ebooks without paying $10 to $15 a time for a digital version of an ebook without having the physical book which would cost the same price.

I am all for content providers making money but not at the expense of the authors and genuine book lovers who buy ebooks becasue they have upgraded to the latest gadget.

One of the best methods to getting ebooks online is to look up the authors you love and go to their own web sites, this way you often get access to ebooks before they are on general release, on top of this you can often pick up the ebook at a discount and you are sure that you are supporting your favourite authors and they are directly getting paid for the books they write.

The other way to buy ebooks that i recommend is a site called Buy EbooksOnline, it is a subscription based service but costs just $19.99 (usually $39.99 but on discount) and gives you access to a massive library of over 40,000 ebooks. once subscribed users can use the site without any restrictions. I myself have already downloaded over 200 books which i keep on my ereaders, just working out that each ebook may cost $5 each i have saved hundreds of dollars already on buying ebooks and i am very happy with the service. The interface is clean and quick and the ebooks are in the genuine epub format which is compatible with all ereaders.

There are other ways to get cheap ebooks on the internet one of which is the use of torrents from sites such as isohunt but it really is a gamble when using this type of service as you never know what your downloading untill you have downloaded it and open it(in the case of virus infected files it is too late by this point).
