Buying an ergonomic Mouse Wrist Pad

Like everything else in your office, you should be using an Ergonomic Mouse Wrist Pad

. If you don't know what that is, then I will explain it to you. Something that is designed to be ergonomic is comfortable to use, and feels natural. For example, a chair that encourages you to sit up in the right posture is ergonomic. If you are using equipment that is not ergonomic, your body is likely to feel uncomfortable, or even pain. If you are experiencing anything like this then there is a good chance that the way your office is set up is not correct. One of the major contributing parts of the body that develops RSI is the wrist, and usually the one that uses the mouse all day long. Two things make your wrist uncomfortable when using a mouse.

The first is the Wrist Pads, and the second is the Mouse itself. If you have either of these items that are not very well designed you are likely to feel uncomfortable over long periods of use. When you think about the time that you spend at your desk its easily justifiable to spend a few hundred dollars to get the furniture that is going to ensure your body is well looked after. In most cases though, you can get away with spending 50 dollars on a new mouse, and the another 5 dollars on an Oriental Rug Mouse Pad (or your own personalised photos!).

There are a lot of mouse pads on the market. Type Mouse pad into eBay and you will be very surprised with what comes up. A lot of the mouse pads today are very comfortable to use, meaning that they are generally ergonomic to use and worth the money that you spend. Make sure that you are buying an ergonomic mouse pad though, over something that just looks good!
