Another hint is, when you use the veneer, make sure you use the veneering tools with it. The veneering tools make it a lot easier to apply and help the cabinets refacing last longer.

Tack cloths are another helpful material to have on hand. If you don't clean your cabinets thoroughly, the veneer won't stick properly to the cabinet. When you are cleaning with the tack cloths, make sure you clean the cabinet at least three times to make sure you have the cabinet dust free.

The veneer edge banding helps with laminated layers for most flat surface cabinet doors. If your cabinet isn't a flat surface cabinet, then you don't have to worry about using this tool. Make sure that you also don't use the veneer edge banding with solid wood cabinets, this tool won't work well with those cabinets.

If you really want your cabinets to stand out and look very expensive, the french provincial trim is what you need. This trim makes the cabinets look like a gingerbread house, but also gives the cabinets an expensive look.
