Let we will discuss about the geometric mean calculation. The geometric mean should be calculate the average of set of products. The calculation of such products can be used to establish the performance results of an investment or portfolio. Geometric mean is same as arithmetic mean. This is the process that except numbers are multiplied and then the nth root of resulting product.

Geometric mean calculate of two numbers:
Let two numbers p and q should be length over one side of square.
Their area is equivalent to the area of a rectangle with sides of lengths c and d.
Geometric mean calculate of three numbers:
Let us consider the numbers be a, b, and c.
Here, the geometric mean should be the length on a side of cube.
Their volume could be equivalen to cuboid with sides.
Their lengths should be equal to the given three numbers.
Calculation:
Let us consider a data set [a1, a2, ..... an ]
Geometric mean of data set should be,
Geometric mean of data set Arithmetic mean of same data set.
Arithmetic mean is equivalent to the geometric mean, When all members are same in data set.

Example 1:
Calculate the geometric mean of the numbers 3 and 16.
Solution:
Step 1: Given numbers 3 and16
Step 2: Here we have two numbers.
Step 3: The geometric mean = 'root(2)(3 times 16)'
='root(2)(3 times 2 times 2 times 2 times 2)'
= 4'root(2)(3)'
The answer is, 4 'root(2)(3)'

Solution:
Step 1: Given numbers 2, 8 and 16
Step 2: Here we have three numbers.

= 'root(3)(2 times 2 times 2 times 2 times 2 times 2 times 2 times 2)'
= 4 'root(3)(4)'
