The current California Workers' Compensation minimum compensation rate is $143.70 and current California Workers' Compensation maximum compensation rate is $958.01.

What is a Waiting Time?

Under California Workers' Compensation Laws there is a three-day waiting period. Meaning you aren't paid for the first three days until after 14 days of your temporary disability. There is no waiting period if you are immediately hospitalized.

How Long Can I Receive TTD Benefits?

Under most cicrcumstances, can usually only recover 104 weeks of TD benefits.

Do I Have to Pay Taxes on Temporary Disability Benefits?

You do not have to pay taxes on Califronia Temporary Disability benefits.

Can I Get Unemployment Benefits While I Am Temporarily Disabled?

In order to qualify for California Unemployment Benefits you have to certify under penalty of perjury that you are ready, willing and able to perform your regular work. If you are Temporarily Disabled you do not qualify for Unemployment Benefits. Don't make the mistake of applying for Unemployment Benefits when you are disabled.
