Callaway Diablo Forged Irons Sweet And Long Hitting Clubs

Have run the gamut from Callaway Big Bertha, Cobra

, Ping and now back to Callaway. The Callaway diablo forged irons have the best feel of any. Callaway has really manufactured a quality set of clubs in these new Diablo Forged Irons. The diablo forged irons with graphite shafts are extremely playable and provide great feel and distance.

I have recently realized just how good Callaway irons are. I purchased a set of Callaway X-24 irons a few months back and really enjoyed how smooth and solid they are. The one thing I was missing though was being able to work the ball with a fade. In comes the Diablo Forged, I am pumped about these irons! Not only are they smooth and solid like the X24's but I can fade the ball when I want. They swing easy, look great, give you confidence when you look down, and they stay in the air with the proper trajectory.

Took out both the Mizuno MX 300 Irons and the Diablo Forged, both felt good but the Callaway went further and the mis hits were better. Drove down to Callaway and got fitted, they took me out of graphite and put me in the Uniflex steel and bent them up 1 degree. Drawing the ball has never been a problem for me. Talk about dialing in some pins, I'm firing at tucked pins and sticking them tight. If you're looking for a forged iron that's forgiving, smooth and looks beautiful standing over the ball look no further.

The Callaway Diablo Forged Irons are marketed to the single digit to mid-teen handicap player. Do not be afraid to try it if your handicap is above 15. While the head is somewhat compact, Callaway added some nice foregiveness to this set. The undercut channel and mild offset along with the thin topline were just what I was looking for. I wasn't sure about the uniflex shafts to begin with but so far they are fine. I may upgrade to Rifle shafts at some point but overall the stock shafts are not bad. These irons also have a very good weight. They feel a little heavier than most which is what I prefer.

I had played the Nike split cavity irons previously but these Callaway irons continue to provide greater distance,forgiveness and feel. The graphite shafts (I have only played steel previously) feel like a steel shaft but lighter and you still get feedback about how solidly you have struck the ball. This iron provides a wide range of golfers the best distance they have ever seen in a Callaway forged iron with unprecedented feel, accuracy, and forgiveness.
