Motorhomes are expensive items and give a lot of fun and pleasure to a lot of people

. Yet many purchase their first leisure vehicle only to find, some time later, that it's not for them. The travelling and outdoor lifestyle, for whatever reason doesn't fit in with their lifestyle. So, who should be a suitable candidate to enjoy the lifestyle that campers motorhomes provide. One obvious group that fit into this category is a family, with Mom, Dad and the kids.

It's obvious that kids should enjoy this lifestyle. What kid would not enjoy hitting the open road, parking up at a campsite with great facilities, playing all day outdoors and sleeping under the stars, in their van. In this modern day when so many kids spend their leisure time on the Wii, the x-box, the internet or the Nintendo DS, parents are struggling for ways to entice their kids outside and get involved in healthy activity. With childhood obesity an ever growing issue, the outdoor lifestyle on a well equipped campsite is a welcome addition to any kids balanced lifestyle. The very fact that the kids are waking up within touching distance of playgrounds, swimming pools, sports grounds etc tends to encourage the younger ones to get out and about more than might usually.

The modern campervans are very much being styled and aimed toward the family market. Take, for example the sleeping arrangements. Many will have a separate sleeping compartment for Mom and Dad, with bunk style beds for the kids. Many will have two tables, allowing the parents to enjoy a glass of wine and a good novel up front and the kids to have a good game of snakes and ladders down the back. Without doubt, the modern day motorhome is certainly ideal for the modern day family.
