Can Affiliates Really Make Money?

After scouring the internet for what seems like years

, I began to ask myself if there is anything out there that is a real way to make money online. My story is the same as many who have come before me. I was a stay at home mother of six children. My husband worked out of town to support us for most of our 8 year marriage. I used to sit at my computer and search for something to do online to make money. Something that I believed in, something that was real. Although my husband did his best to support us, and we were never without food, everyday was a struggle. When we did get a chance or the money to take the kids somewhere, like camping at the lake, we never had enough money to fully enjoy the experience. It was always in my mind of how I could cut corners to save a dollar.

I tried many types of programs in the past. I joined a few MLM's and a few groups that said they weren't MLM's but had 99% of the characteristics of an MLM. I even ran across affiliate marketing before, but I never found the correct training to actually market correctly, so I gave up on that too. I could say now that I regret my decision to quit affiliate marketing when I did, but that wouldn't be true. I could see the potential and I knew that someone had to be making money on the things that I purchased on the internet, I just couldn't figure out how I could be that person.

So I continued to read local online ads searching for a solution. I was the one still sorting through all of the online business opportunities in the classifieds, just hoping that I would stumble across something real. Then out of the blue, a friend of mine invited me to a free webinar of this gentleman she called "Dr. Jason Secord." She was so excited as she was telling me what an awesome mentor this Jason Secord was. I said right away, "what's the catch?" In my mind, and based on my previous experiences, I couldn't figure out why would this man would take his time to give free webinars to teach strangers the kind of things that I have been paying money for, for almost two years now. I went ahead and listened to the webinar, and when I heard what was being said, I started to get it. I really started to see how affiliate marketing isn't really that difficult. Actually it can be quite profitable if you follow the right procedures and keep yourself organized. I continued to attend the free webinars, and learned different techniques and tips, but all the while, looking for the catch. One free webinar is one thing, but two each week. And without selling me anything, or charging me to attend. Then I stopped looking for the catch and started to accept that what Jason Secord was doing was helping me and other marketers over our hurdles that we faced with affiliate marketing. Hearing him explain different things and show me examples really had me to see that it is not impossible to make money online and still be home with my kids.

When I heard about the opportunity to join the A-List Ladies, I jumped right in with both feet. The potential with this group of women and with our mentor behind us is still too large for me to grasp yet, but I will say that I have been starting to dream again. I've been dreaming of a time when I can provide for my kids. I have been dreaming of a time when I can support the family and my husband can take care of his medical problems. I am dreaming of a day when me and my entire family can enjoy life and not struggle through it on a daily basis. I dream of a day when I can put this same opportunity in front of other women and stay at home mothers in the position I was in before I was invited to that free webinar.
