One is the Apis Dorsata

Let's begin the overview on these bees types with the apis dorsata, also referred to as the rock bee. Additionally to the fact that the apis florae might abscond because of disturbance, the quantity of honey that could be harvested from the hive is likely to be less than the quantity of honey obtained from a domesticated colony.

All the honey bees are not the same when it comes to beekeeping. In fact, certain honey bees types appear to be better suited for domestication than others.
