Can C Eye Drops is efficient in Senile Cataract treatment

Innovative Vision Products (IVP) are a US based organisation who over the last few years has developed a unique form of carnosine. This kind of carnosine is known as n-acetylcarnosine (NAC) and represents a great development in the treatment and likely prevention of senile cataracts.

IVP have been operating in Russia over the last several years utilizing Russian scientists and researchers. IVP are a bio-engineering organisation who has built a proprietary way of creating particularly high purity NAC. NAC has been established as an appropriate ophthalmic drug in the non-surgical treatment of senile cataracts.

Experiments conducted by IVP have shown that when the level of antioxidant in the aging eye becomes low it causes cataracts to form. This tends to happen more with advancing age. Many studies have shown that the eye relies greatly on anti-oxidant carnosine.

Dr.Mark Barbizhayey is the key scientist behind this research and has claimed that amongst many carnosines, N-acetylcarnosine is the only one that has proven to be safe and efficient in continuous and long-term use. The research conducted has produced a specific purity formula from this anti-oxidant and anti-glycation agent.

Tests have revealed a high statistic and considerable clinical success rate in those who have had 3-12 months of can-c treatment. It is not a surprise that IVP have ensured worldwide patents on their NAC for its use for cataracts and open-angle glaucoma. However research for open-angle glaucoma still remains unpublished.

One clinical trial tested carnosine eye-drops on 96 patients who were aged 60 and over. Every patient had a senile cataract. but differing in levels of maturity. The disease period ranged from 2 to 21 years in these patients. The results showed a pronounced effect on primary senile cataracts with a 100% effective rate which means all patients saw an improvement. As for those who had a more mature senile cataract for instance one that had been present for over 20 years, the success rate was still impressive at 80%.

The results seen here are remarkable bearing in mind that you would normally just expect a small improvement or an end in the progression or in untreated circumstances a continued worsening of the disease. Most importantly in each of these cases no side effects have been observed.
