Can I Work From Home And Still Keep A Regular Job?

AOne of the major issues that a lot of individuals look at when they are deciding

about working from home is the thought that they have to give up their regular job in order to have any type of success working from home. This is just not the case. You do not have to begin a home business working full time. The truth is only a few people who begin working from home start full time. For the majority of people its not the best route to take especially if you have a full time job that pays you good. The best way to begin is to work your business on a part time basis and then once your income reaches a limit that enables you to feel comfortable then you are in a position to leave your regular job to concentrate on your home based business full time.

It is very important to make sure that the money that your generating from your business is stable and high enough before you decide to leave your full time job. If you quit your job to soon before the money is flowing from your business you could put yourself in a position to fail. When you run a business part time it does not mean that you cannot generate a lot of money right away. Plenty of individuals begin part time and are able to see the work that they have put in the first month or in some cases even the first week pay off quite well right away.

Now how much time do you need to grow your business so that you can do it full time? I would say this its going to vary on how much income that you need to have coming in to maintain a decent lifestyle or can bring you in enough to replace your full time salary. If you are now making between $30,000 - $65,000 a year it is definitely possible to replace your income in your first year of operation. If you are making more than that currently it may take some more time to replace your income but once again it depends on the type of business you enter and also how much are willing to put into it from the start.

So with all that being said it is possible to start a home based business and still maintain your full time job. My thought on this is its better to start off working the business part time so that you do not put yourself in a bad situation financially and you will put yourself in control of deciding when its time to move to doing the business full time.
