If you are familiar with online marketing, then you may already know that the opportunities online are almost limitless. Seriously, there are more ways to get traffic and leads using the internet than you or I could possibly have time for.

There is now way that one individual person could be taking advantage of all the online marketing strategies at once. It would just be impossible to do this, however, a lot of people try to do this when they are just starting out.

It is very ineffective to try to do SEO, PPC, video marketing, blogging and facebook marketing all at the same time when you are just starting out. All of these strategies work and have enormous possibilities, but you need to focus on 1 or maybe 2 when you are just starting out.

Let's be honest, opportunity is a great thing and we should be grateful for all the opportunities that we have, but they can actually hinder your success if you get side tracked by every opportunity.

I also want to make a point that this will happen no matter what level of the game you are playing at. You are always going to have opportunities if you are building a list and following what I teach in my free 7 day video series.

In fact, you will have more opportunity at almost every stage of the game. This is why it is incredible important that you learn early on to develop laser focus. When you do start to build an email list and learn marketing, you will discover that now there are new opportunities to promote different products and services in different ways.

Think about the online marketers who have email lists of 100's of thousands of people. They have way more difficult choices to be making, and they have way more opportunities coming at them daily.

I guarantee that they have had to make some very difficult decisions in their business and the direction they wanted to take it. The point is that these difficult decisions and distractions will never disappear. This is why it is crucial to develop a crystal clear vision and stick to it no matter what.

So is it bad to have too many opportunities?

Absolutely not! The only way that opportunities could hinder your success is if you let them distract from what you are doing. The opportunities will always be there so the key is to focus on your personal goals and make them happen to the exclusion of everything else around you.
