Several years ago, I found myself in an unfamiliar situationa single mother trying to raise 2 kids and barely surviving. I had a decent job that fortunately allowed me to pay the bills, but after a few months of living pay-check to pay-check, and often times floating one bill over to the next month, it started taking a toll on not just myself, but my kids as well.

I knew I had to find something that could help us all out financially, or I was bound to continue doing what I had been doing and expecting different results, which come to think of it, is the truest definition of insanity!

After spending countless hours online over several weeks, reading anything and everything I could, digging through online forums and online groups, looking for a viable option that would allow me to make money online part-time and not finding anything, I was just about to just kick the bucket and give up. So, I took about a week off, continued working, paying the bills and consistently worrying if things were ever going to get better.

Then one Friday night, while I was online checking my email and catching up with friends and family on Facebook, I came across an ad about a work from home opportunity that indicated it was 'mom friendly'. Seeing as I had nothing better to do at that moment, I thought I'd check it outand looking back on that day, which has since changed my life, I'm glad I did!

The web site talked about a business based around what's called affiliate marketing, which is nothing more then selling another person's product or service and then being paid once a sale is made. I was familiar with the concept of affiliate marketing, as I had come across a few forums and news groups during all those hours and days I spent online a few weeks earlier, so it wasn't something new but something I hadn't really considered.

The website was offering a low-cost guide on how to be able to work from home part-time and run a successful affiliate marketing business. Considering the low cost for the guide and feeling somewhat confident I could finally find a way to make some extra cash while working part-time, I went for it!

I spent most of the night going through all the reading material and really started to get excited about all the various ways it's possible to generate cold-hard cash through affiliate marketing. I hardly slept that night, as I started to think about what a few $100 dollars could do for my family and that I could start getting ahead on my bills and actually be in a position to start saving money.

The next morning, after getting the kids breakfast and running a few errands, I sat back down at my computer and started re-reading the information again, so I had fairly good grasp of what was expected in order to get my new found business not only up and running but earning money in as little time as possible.

A few days later, after implementing some of the strategies contained in the book, I saw my first two sales, totaling $75 dollars! To say I was ecstatic would be a gross understatement!

Continuously implementing the strategies outlined in the course day after day and week after week, all that effort finally paid off as I received my first commission check for over $1200 dollars! I can remember walking into my bank with the biggest smile on my face when I went to deposit that sucker! It was definitely an awesome feeling!
