Finally, you have to have worthwhile monetization strategies. The affiliate program at Amazon, for example, is one of the oldest affiliate programson the Internet. It is also one of the worst paying. At 4%, you're going to have to sell a lot of books for Amazon to really make money with your blog. Instead, you will have to find higher payingaffiliate programs, or perhaps sell a product of your own.

Ultimately, there is no guarantee that you will make money with your blog. Following these principles, however, will give you a fighting chance.
