Candia Maris Resort & Spa Crete Introduces Its Room Types.

, Candia Maris Resort & Spa Crete is six kilometres west of Heraklion and 11 km away from the international airport. The central yet quiet location of the resort is ideal for excursion trips to explore the west or east side of the 400km long island, or to visit near-by Heraklion, its museums, port, historical buildings and shopping centre. The famous archeological site of Knossos is only a 30minute drive away and is considered a must when coming to Crete.

The 40,000 sqm resort complex includes the main building with 226 rooms and suites, and 6 separate buildings with 59 deluxe rooms and suites. All rooms were fully renovated in 2008 and are tastefully decorated, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

In the main building, which is built in U-Shape facing the sea, all rooms and suites have a sea view. Starting from the back with the Classic rooms, as we go towards the sea we find the Superior rooms with a better view, and at the end of each wing the Sea View Suites with a sea front view and two large balconies or verandas. All rooms in the main building are elegantly and modern appointed and are kept in warm earthy colors with dark wooden furniture and accentuated with colored decoration

The 59 deluxe rooms and suites are located in separate building blocks, spread around the gardens to the west. The Deluxe rooms and Deluxe Suites offer a semi-private environment, are tastefully decorated in Mediterranean light blue and beige colors, ready to welcome the most discerning travelers. They are spacious and airy with an open bathroom concept. They are close to a 250 sqm pool, reserved for deluxe room guests only, with a view to the sea beyond. Seven of these individually designed deluxe rooms and suites, are equipped with their own pool and garden, offering to the guest an additional luxury of privileged moments.

All of the 285 spacious and modern rooms and suites offer great views over the Aegean Sea from their balconies or terraces and all the amenities of an upscale holiday resort, such as flat screen satellite TVs, individually air-conditioning, ceiling fans, minifridges, hair-dryer, in room-safes and high speed internet access.
