Safety

Safety is always our first priority and we have taken care to implement safety precautions throughout the boat. The Caravella is equipped with fire extinguishers and detectors. Our boats are maintained every six months and have daily technical supervision. Our boats are equipped with life rafts and life vests are available in all cabins and public areas. Upon embarkation, all passengers will receive instructions regarding emergency and evacuation procedures.

Green Cruising

In order to help preserve Halong Bay for future generations, The Caravella is committed to operating in a way that minimizes our impact on the environment. Wherever possible, we use ecologically sustainable practices, and we support projects to plant trees in the bay area. We take great pride in helping to protect marine life and make Halong Bay greener. All the waste from the vessel is separated and organic waste is converted to biogas in a nearby recycling plant. We are also committed to supporting the local community so wherever possible we employ local staff.
