The CBSE is conducting these exams for the aspirants of premedical dental (BDS) and MBBS entrance exams for all India level at the same time. AIPMT is equivalent to the AIEEE entrance test. Any candidates who has scored 50% marks in general category and for OBC SC it is 45% eligibility for taking the entrance exam for medical degrees. Theses are the subjective exams based on 10th to 12th NCERT books syllabus, general awareness and reasoning too. Students need to attempt 200 questions within 3 hours. 1mark negative marking is also applicable for each wrong answer.

AIPMT Preliminary Exam is also a part of premedical entrance exams. Candidates need to complete this exam before attempting the final round of medical exams. Students can prepare form their CBSE, ICSE, ISE text books on mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology subjects for the preliminary exams. The preliminary exam is objective type paper with 200 question carries 4 marks each correct question and 1 mark is deducting for each wrong question. Later on the candidates have to clear the final round of exams with totally concentration on science - biology subjects in a subjective ways.
