Don't just rush into the first job that comes up either. Have a really good think about what your dream job would be, after all you could be in that job for many years and you don't want to get bored within a few months because you don't have a passion for the work.

Make sure that you research the job you want thoroughly and do your background swotting on any company that you attend an interview with. If you can reel off a few statistics about their turnover and rpofit and loss and also know some history of the company they will remember you more easily when it comes to choosing from all of the applicants for the position.

A great way to get your foot in the door is to start making your own interviews with people in this career sector. All you need is a video phone or inexpensive video camera and even a laptop with a webcam will suffice.

Ring round some of the companies in your area and tell them that you are researching their type of work and would like to do some video interviews. You will be amazed at how many of these companies will welcome the free publicity.
