Lets start with the floors. There are many types of floorings. Wooden floors, marble floors, tiles, laminate, vinyl and green floors. All have different characteristics. Some of them are highly expensive and cost you twice or trice than placing a carpet. Floors have a benefit that they are easy to clean and do not absorb dust particles. They are easy to wipe if get stained. Floors are preferable at the houses where you have kids. As kids throw eatables, floors can be easily cleaned up. It is the case if you are having pets at home. Pets move out and they bring stains of mud and dust particles with them. Floors can be easily wiped off instead of carpets.

Despite of many benefits floors also have drawbacks. Wooden floors are very sensitive. They are damaged by liquids and easily get scratched. Furniture and accessories also damage them. Marble floors are so slippery and you need to be very careful walking on them.

Now coming to carpets, they are also having benefits and drawbacks. The first and most important thing about carpets is that they are changeable after some time. The beauty and charm of carpets has its own value. Floors cannot replace the elegance of carpets. Carpets are having billion of designs textures and colors. Keeping in view the color of the room walls and other accessories you can choose the carpet to add style and luxury. There are many types of carpets to choose. You just need to be careful for your kids and pets and should vacuum at least twice a week to ensure cleanliness and healthy environment.

There are liquids available for carpet cleaning; if it gets stains you can easily clean it. The most important benefit is that carpets are not that expensive as compared to floorings, and you can cover the cheap flooring with a beautiful piece of carpet.

After comparing carpets with floors I will prefer carpets as they are having variations and you can change them if bored with one. They are available in affordable prices. Give outrageous looks to the floors and give comfort when you walk on them.
