Finally the court will deliver its verdict verifying the arguments put forward by the lawyers. In this process, lawyers will use all possible sources to make arguments in favor of their clients. They may have to go deep into the history of similar cases, and also will have to study various law points thoroughly to present their arguments strongly. Case law, which is a bunch of information about similar cases which has been argued in any other court, is one such thing that comes for the help of lawyers in this process. It will have al the details about the case such as the details of evident, first investigation report, statements made by the witnesses and the details of the cross examinations. It also contains the final verdict passed by the court along with the comments of the judges if any.

Under any law, the orders of the lower courts are changeable by the higher courts and most of the cases will go up to the highest court. In such cases also the case law will come for the help of lawyers. The order of the lower court may be against their client and in some similar cases some other lower courts or higher courts would have given a different order. The lawyers will assess the situation under which such an order has come and they can argue in the higher courts that the situation is same here also and hence the court should give an order in favour of their clients.

This will also help them to find out how a particular argument is influencing the judiciary while passing an order.

Thus we can conclude that the case law is playing an important role in the profession of lawyers and most of the lawyer firms will have a vast collection of it. They believe that this is most important for them to be successful in their profession. It also comes as a help for many juniors who have just started their career. .
