My partner and I have been living in rented accommodation for many years. We are very comfortable financially but have struggled to save enough money for a deposit to buy our own home. I am the only Grandchild and have been left a very healthy sum. We have looked at many houses and have now found our dream home. After a little negotiation, our offer has been accepted. The house is in Wales. From the lounge window there is a view of Conwy Castle and the house is aptly named Castle Lodge. It is a detached house with five large bedrooms and three bathrooms. The best thing about the house is the fabulous location and garden. It is set in three acres of landscaped gardens which slope down onto the Menai Strait water front. In the evening we will be able to watch the sun go down over the water. Legal proceedings for the purchase of the house are now underway. We enlisted the help of a Maidstone Lawyer local solicitor who is carrying out the work at a very reasonable rate. We just hope that the process goes smoothly. There is no sales chain, so there should be no major complications. Until then, I suppose it is just a matter of waiting.
